Mobile Banking allows quick management of your account while on the go from a Smartphone or Tablet. It also features Mobile Check Deposit which grants the ability to deposit checks without leaving your home or office. Once you have registered with First State Bank’s On-Line Banking at any First State Bank Location, you will be given a USER NAME (never changes) and a Password. This will allow access to your accounts on-line. Mobile Banking also allows a customer to use the same USER ID and Password as On-Line Banking.
Answer your security questions. The same Questions and Answers you provided in your On-Line Profile.
You are viewing all your accounts…Click on Menu (Three (3) Horizontal Bars at the top left of the screen). Locate “Mobile Deposit” and Click on it.
Enter your E-Mail Address that is used for On-Line Banking, Enter your primary checking Account Number, and Enter your Cell Phone Number you are using for Mobile Deposit.
Read the Terms & Conditions. If you are in Agreement to the Terms and Conditions, please click “I agree”.
Once “Agreed” an e-mail is automatically sent to the Mobile Banking Department for registration purposes and an e-mail approval confirmation will be sent to you within minutes. If you are applying after business hours or on weekends, approval will be sent the next business day.
Endorsement of the Check: The back of the check being deposited must be endorsed properly or it will not be approved for deposit. Sign the top of the back of the check exactly as the PAYEE indicates on the front of the check, under your Signature include “Mobile Deposit” First State Bank.
Select the account that the check is being deposited into. Enter the amount of the check. EXAMPLE: $ 1124.32. Select “Take Pictures”.
Tap the first block, labeled “Front of Check”. Place the check on a dark surface to allow contrast. Align the picture of the check on the phone so the 4 corners of the check are in alignment. The entire check must be visible. Please make sure the account number and the Routing and Transit number (the numbers on the bottom left of the check) are visible in the picture. Snap the PICTURE.
Pause--Validating Image. You will be asked if you want to use the image or retake the picture. If it is correct, simply click “Use Image”. Check for image quality. If it is not clear & legible, retake the picture.
Tap the next block –labeled “Back of Check”, Turn the check over and repeat the process to align the check. Make sure the endorsement is in the picture and SNAP THE PICTURE.
Submit –Wait for Approval Transmission.
Deposits made before 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday will be posted at the end of the business day. After these times, deposits will post on the next business day.
NOTE: A confirmation e-mail will be sent confirming the reception of the deposit and is awaiting approval. Once approved (within minutes) you will receive another e-mail message stating deposit received for approval.
Congratulations! Your Mobile Deposit has been transmitted to the bank and is being processed immediately!
