Same Day ACH
Upon a Signed Agreement with First State Bank, and a signed authorization for First State Bank Online Services, you may go online to initiate an ACH transaction to debit or credit your account electronically and debit or credit another bank account electronically at another financial institution.
If you are crediting your account, First State Bank must have a signed authorization from the account holder at the other financial institution authorizing you to debit the account. The transaction is executed via online banking. The transmission may be credited the same day, next day or second day of transaction, depending on the time of the initiated transaction. All account numbers and Routing & Transit numbers must be accurate for the transaction to be completed.

ACH – Automated Clearing House
ACH Rules – Refers to the Operating Rules and Guidelines of the National Automated Clearing House Association as amended from time to time and any superseding operating rules of local ACH Association(s).
You & Your - Refer to the Originator(s)
We, us, our - Refer to the Originating Depository Financial Institution (ODFI)
Account – Refers to your account with First State Bank, which will receive debits and or credits pursuant to this agreement.
You, the customer, authorize First State Bank to transmit, and to debit or credit the amounts of, entries to the accounts of Receivers through the ACH system. This authorization extends only to the types of entries selected in the “Types of Entries That Can Be Initiated” section. When initiating an entry, you will comply with the “How Entries Will Be Processed” requirements, Security Procedures, and Authorizing Signature Requirements selected in the ACH Agreement. You agree to be bound by the ACH Rules, including all the Originator obligations under the ACH Rules. You also agree to satisfy and be solely responsible as between you, the customer, and First State Bank.
There is Account Balance, Data Security, Security Procedures, Authorization Signatures, Process Obligation, that require your understanding in the usage of this service. This is outlined in the registration process.
